The relationship between the high school students’ digital competency framework and Knowledge-Skill-Attitude (KSA) model

Summary: 
In the context of comprehensive digital transformation in education, students’ digital competence has become a core element of the 2018 General Education Curriculum. Developing digital competence for high school students is not only a mandatory requirement to ensure the quality of teaching and learning but also the students’ foundation to actively approach, research, and acquire knowledge. Furthermore, shaping this competence helps students develop the ability to effectively and flexibly solve real-life situations. This article highlights the relationship between the digital competence framework in schools and the knowledge-skill-attitudes (KSA) model while providing directions for developing digital competence for high school students.
